Easter Weekend

Friday was probably the boring-est day of the entire year (doesn't it concern you that it's come so early on in the year?) I had nothing to do...housework and reading. Wow.

Saturday I went to Sylvia Park for the first time ever. It's quite nice but sort of reminds me of Botany with the little open area and the way the shops are set out. I saw Bettina! She was wearing the lovely Warehouse colours and I disrupted her from her job but it was so great seeing her again. Later I took my sister to see 'Meet the Robinsons', good bonding time. The movie though, meh, it wasn't very good. Even my sister got a bit bored I think. Not funny or engaging. Ice Age all the way :p
I called Shelley that night and we spoke for a long time and had quite the heart-to-heart. Aw Shelley is just so awesome, always there for me :)

Sunday, well I planned to go play badminton only that plan crashed and burnt. The details I would prefer not to disclose because they are both embarrassing and not a credit to my intellectual ability.
See in going to play badminton I effectively woke up the sleepy duckling and made her scoff some breakfast after giving her 15mins to get ready. And then it didn't work out so I sort of wallowed in my boredom the whole way back to her place and eventually she took pity on me and semi-invited me to her house. I then just went in and we spent the afternoon eating, playing games and talking. Then she convinced me to stay for dinner which was a BBQ. It was rather entertaining watching Ian trying to light it. But we eventually got to eat and my father came to pick me up just as the BBQ reached perfection.

Today I stayed at home and began my economics homework which I have nearly finished now. And I did some intense music practice. Well intense for me I guess seeing as I do next to none these days. But I did practice both cello and flute so yes, be proud of me.
Then I went to look for a new bed for myself. My mother has this sudden idea that my bed isn't good for my back so I should get a new one. I insisted that it's fine and my back isn't incurring any damage but she said I'm getting a new bed and she is my mother after all... Yeah weak excuse I know, but who could say no to a new anything hehe.

And tomorrow I'm at home with nothing to do but study and music due to a certain someone, but I shall refrain from mentioning names. So I shall try to engross myself in my studies and learn something. Maybe aim for E for the stats internal first day back....heh heh heh not possible is it? Yeah I didn't think it was all that convincing myself.

I hope everyone had interesting Easter weekends and arrived home safely if they were out of Auckland. Enjoy the holidays while they last :)
